We are responsible for delivering some of the most beloved characters and timeless stories to consumers across the world and to achieve this, we will need to hire exceptional talent. With the launch of Disney+ in North America we start our joining of serving Disney content directly to our consumers, and as we look to distribute that platform globally (European launch is 31st March 2020), we are looking to expand our Talent Acquisition function to support our global growth.
You will be joining a young European TA function as a Senior Tech Recruiter, with purpose to continually grow the European Disney Streaming Services Technology teams, whilst showcasing our employer brand and EVP. You will have autonomy to create effective recruitment strategies that focus on candidate experience whilst delivering against your stakeholders needs in a heavily competitive market place.
Our Amsterdam office is a diverse mixture of Full Stack Web and Mobile development teams who are building the User Experiences on platforms likes Disney+ and ESPN+. Using the latest technologies to build these applications (Java, Kotlin, Swift) they promote a modern method of agile development to deliver these products. We are also expanding our Infrastructure teams in Europe to better support our linear and on-demand services and as a result, you’ll be supporting the growth of brand new functions in Amsterdam as well.
Working in collaboration with your stakeholders, and with the support of the European Tech Recruitment Manager you will be responsible for delivering on the companies hiring goals for the foreseeable future. You will:
Lead the end to end delivery of all recruitment campaigns for the Amsterdam technology teams.
Collaborate with Stakeholders to deliver effective recruitment campaigns.
Partner and collaborate with Stakeholders to create Candidate First hiring experiences.
Utilise a combination of sourcing, compelling copywriting, and community engagement to build engaged hiring funnels.
Keep accurate candidate details and ensure ATS and TRM is maintained at all times, in compliance with EU GDPR requirements.
Build relationships with peers across the Disney TA Centre of Excellence, promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Collaborate with local HR teams to continually improve/refine onboarding processes for new team members.
Provide ongoing insights around local market trends relating to the technology sector.
Contribute to ad-hoc and ongoing TA/HR projects. This will include all community activities like blogs, meetups, and conferences as well as our local D&I commitments.
Seek out opportunities for improvement, both personally and within the TA function.
Be an ambassador for the business at community events, showcasing the company EVP.
Experience recruiting Software Engineers, preferably Front End and Mobile.
Extensive experience developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans.
Experience using a broad range of social media tools/channels for sourcing and showcasing Employer Brand and EVP.
Expertise in Boolean and/or Semantic searching.
Regular engagement with the wider tech community.
Experience in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm.
Familiarity working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Preferably, some Internal Recruitment experience.
