The Disneyland Resort® invites you to be our Guest and explore exciting opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Wed., August 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This event is at our Casting Center and is open to the public. This Job Fair will focus on finding talent for various roles within Culinary and our Resort Hotels. Come meet our Recruitment Team and Hotels Leadership to learn more about our dynamic teams that provide unparalleled Guest experiences!

Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to the event, however computers will be available at the event to complete applications.

Up to $1,500 hiring bonus for select roles!

Culinary roles available will include:

  • Full Time Banquets Pantry - starting rate of $17.20/hour - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Dinner Cook starting rate of $19.10/hour - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Specialty Cook starting rate of $21.35/hour - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Full Time Hourly Chef starting rate of $23.00/hour - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Full Time Pastry Chef/Head Baker starting rate of $19.20/hour - $1,500 Hiring Bonus

Resort Hotel Roles available will include:

Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week including nights, weekends and holidays.
Part Time requires full availability for weekends, holidays, and during all peak seasons, in addition to nights for any private parties. It requires a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week, including nights and weekends.

Directions to the Parking Lot:
  • If traveling West on Ball Road, turn left on Cast Place (before Disneyland Drive) and then next left. Parking attendant is on the left
  • If traveling East to the Casting Center, pass Disneyland Dr., and Cast Place is the next right. Then make the next left. Parking attendant is on the left.
To reduce wait time, it is strongly encouraged that you apply in advance.

The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests complete their primary vaccination series or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. It is strongly recommended that Guests wear face coverings when indoors and in enclosed transportation. Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and older), regardless of vaccination status, in certain indoor health settings, such as in First Aid. Face coverings are optional for Guests in outdoor areas.

(First payment after 90 days = $250 and Second payment after 150 days = $750)

$1,500 Hiring Bonus for Lifeguard, Banquets Pantry, Dinner Cook, Specialty Cook, Hourly Chef, Pastry Chef/Head Baker, Pastry Dinner Cook, Pastry Cook/Baker, and Order Cook

$1,500 Hiring Bonus
(First payment after 90 days = $375 and Second payment after 150 days = $1,125)

To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, Cast Members must be in the position continuously for at least 90 days after hire and be employed by The Walt Disney Company at time of payment. A Cast Member is hired after the successful completion of Disney Traditions or one full day of employment. To be eligible for an incentive bonus after 150 days, cast members must remain employed in the position continuously for at least 150 days and be employed by The Walt Disney Company at the time of payment. Payments will be made approximately two weeks after the 90 and 150-day milestones, respectively. Bonus payments are subject to applicable taxes and other legal withholding. Disputes concerning eligibility to a bonus payment shall be resolved by Disneyland Recruitment in its sole and absolute discretion. The incentives offered herein are subject to change at any time, with or without notice. Cast Members hired prior to July 03, 2022 or after October 01, 2022 will not be eligible for an incentive award.

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Able to effectively work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic communication skills (able to positively talk with Guest, Cast Members and leadership)
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events
  • Excellent Hospitality skills
  • Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
  • Part-Time requires full availability for weekends, holidays, and during all peak seasons, in addition to nights for any private parties. It requires a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week, including nights and weekends
  • Full-Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights and holidays

Additional Information!:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
