Fireworks Production & Inventory Manager

The Fireworks Production & Inventory Manager leads the Fireworks Administration Team. The team is responsible for the analysis of pyrotechnic inventory and the management of product flow through the supply chain. Individuals in this role will develop strategies and manage many streams of work simultaneously. Primary focus is on supporting the team while driving ongoing process improvements utilizing current and emerging technologies to improve supply chain functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible Person on Federal Explosives Licenses (ATF)
  • Point of contact for ATF
  • Analyze inventory
  • Develop comprehensive strategies and processes for short and long term purchasing
  • Direct Production Assistants on purchase order creation and execution
  • Direct and interact with Inventory Control Specialists to plan product usage and logistics
  • Develop comprehensive strategies and processes for short term and long term storage and logistics
  • Partner with Fireworks Design Team
  • Collaborate with Disney Live Entertainment production teams
  • Liaison with SAP specialists (Financial Systems)
  • Direct reports include Inventory Control Specialists and Fireworks Production Assistants

Basic Qualifications

  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Ability to deliver on schedule and budget
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products with a focus on advanced Excel functions
  • Experience with inventory management software (SAP and/or others)
  • Commitment to on-going personal education
  • Professionalism and Ethics
  • Ability to work flexible hours - nights, weekends, holidays
  • Willing to travel domestically
  • Either possesses or is willing to attain a CA Basic Commercial Pyrotechnic Operator License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience with SAP
  • Possesses a CA Theatrical Pyrotechnic Operator License

Required Education

  • High School Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
