Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to pass 6G weld test within first 90 days of employment
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools required of an Ironworker
- Experience in rigging methods and handling wire ropes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures, and for those assigned to the Disney California Adventure Park, must be able to work at heights of 200+ feet above the ground
- Experience using fall protection, boatswain’s chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipment
- Experience using customary shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, band saws
- Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (mules), man lifts and lift trucks
- Familiarity with the use of PCs and the use of (or ability to learn) the computerized maintenance-management system (known as MAXIMO) to detail work

Those assigned to the Ironworker position are required to attend an annual Hearing Conservation Training class, Respiratory Protection Training class and a Lead Awareness class. They are also required to submit to an annual medical evaluation, fit test, audiometric exam and a semi-annual Lead/Zinc blood test.SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM, while some may end as late as 5:00 AM. This roles is Full Time and requires full availability, including working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

The pay rate for this role in California is $37.00 to $45.04 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
