Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Sales Operation is seeking a Labor Manager to help guide and implement new labor strategies, and operational efficiencies that contribute to positive revenue results for the global sales channel (Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Aulani). The Labor Manager will focus on leadership, team development, and collaboration while ensuring labor processes related to call volume, in-market and virtual sales strategies, workload forecasting, Cast schedules, and daily labor practices are followed. You will demonstrate the ability to use resources and partnerships to produce high-quality work. We are looking for someone with proven interpersonal and analytical skills that can communicate business and Cast performance metrics to leadership, using data-driven labor insights.
You will report to the Labor Operations Manager, DVC Sales and lead an hourly team of non-union Labor Specialists.
You Will:
- Be the expert of workload, staffing, scheduling, day-of deployment and operational monitoring, and time recording for DVC Sales Operation.
- Lead strategy that aligns labor policies while balancing the Cast experience.
- Embrace the Disney heritage of, leading by example, encouraging an inclusive environment of developing, and motivating a diverse group of Cast. Coach Cast in all areas of performance including metrics and behaviors related to the Cast experience.
- Facilitate team meetings related to weekly/monthly achievement levels/goals, conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide ongoing development and write/conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Maintain a digital resource that houses how-to guides and standard operating procedures for labor processes and audits.
- Help develop a balanced labor strategy for the DVC Sales Channel by generating and analyzing labor reporting and identifying inefficiencies.
You Have:
- Minimum 3 years of previous leadership experience or equivalent with Disney.
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing labor support.
- Prior Disney Workforce Management or Labor Management experience with knowledge and experience in WDW Workforce Management systems (i.e. MY TIME, GEMS, CDS).
- Proven process improvement skills.
- Experience leading projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Disney labor procedures, and employee policies a plus.
- Familiarity with Workday and/or SAP a plus.
- Experience in a Sales environment or any other Disney Signature Experiences role a plus.
- Familiarity with the Disney Vacation Club product a plus.
The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $63,386 to $85,030 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
