Job Summary:

This Manager of Application Operations (AO) position will play an integral role on our Disneyland technical operations team by elevating practices, promoting and onboarding new technologies, solving complex problems, and integrating next generation digital platforms to improve our overall Guest and Cast experiences.

The Manager of this team will be expected to monitor operational processes, develop strategic procedures to increase the efficiency and productivity of frontline Cast, and evaluate the performance of technical systems to support critical business functions. This leader will directly oversee and develop technical leadership, including career management, incident management and resolution, Agile project management, problem analysis, and cross-organizational collaboration.

You will lead the team, influence technical direction, and communicate with partners and senior executives. Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in technology, leading projects, setting direction, and coordinating efforts across a diverse group of technologist and business leaders.
• Detailed knowledge of core internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP
• Ability to strategize and deliver high-level solutions for Senior and Executive Leadership while maintaining ability to dive in-depth as needed.
• Experience managing teams in highly matrixed organizations
• Experience managing and forecasting budgets
• Experience with web application development platforms, tools, and utilities
• Experience managing multiple hosting environments including public and private cloud solutions.
