Provide leadership of occupational health services for Cast Members of Disneyland Resort in partnership with other Health Services Managers. Manage day-to-day operations of the Disneyland Resort Health Services Clinic operation. Assist to develop, implement, and oversee the execution of appropriate policies and procedures. Assess processes and identify opportunities for efficienies with best practice options. Provide leadership to Health Services Cast Members.

  • Supervise daily operations of the Health Services Clinic operation. Ensure optimal and high quality occupational health services are provided to Cast Members, to include primary care treatment, medical surveillance, Safety Sensitive restriction return to work, Occupational temporary restriction process, and public health programs as appropriate. Manage and adjust staff assignments and work flow as necessary. Resolve problems and provide service recovery. Provide clinical supervision and consultation to clinical staff within scope of practice. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of occupational health, public health (as appropriate), and primary care best practices, to include relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct workforce planning and scheduling to ensure optimal staffing, appropriate skills sets and qualifications, and Health Services Cast Member satisfaction. Manage scheduling, wage & hour law compliance, and payroll processes, resolve related issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead by example and through education, feedback, communication, and coaching of staff. Ensure staff is well informed of department needs and expectations. Ensure staff have appropriate clinical and skills licenses and qualifications, and they stay current in best practices and emerging occupational health topics. Develop Cast Members and assist them in their career progression as appropriate.
  • Partner with other departments and managers as appropriate to promote and support Cast Member health, emergency preparedness and response, safety, Public Health investigations, and other Company objectives as needed or requested.
  • Ensure appropriate, complete, and high-quality medical documentation and reporting. Utilize QA tools to identify opportunities for individual clinical team member improvement. Maintain and safeguard confidentiality of Cast Member health information. Oversee record storage, retention, security, and appropriate use and disclosure.
  • Continually assess existing processes and training to identify opportunities to streamline and drive efficiencies. Manage the development, documentation, and implementation of all new/revised operating guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Current California RN license required
  • BA or BS required
  • Basic Life Support License required (AED/CPR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Occupational Health Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing preferred
  • COHN, MS in Healthcare Administration, MPH preferred
  • Certified Case Management/ Disability Management a plus
  • Basic knowledge of related fields, e.g., safety, ergonomics, toxicology, and epidemiology a plus

Required Education

  • Bachelors Degree

Preferred Education

  • Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health
