Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Service Manager - 3rd Shift, you will lead a team of Quality Assurance Salaried and Hourly Cast Members who work third shift and perform nondestructive testing (Eddy Current, Liquid Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Visual Testing), and torque wrench and pressure gauge calibration utilizing a wide variety of testing equipment as well as inspect fall protection equipment and systems, and ladders at locations throughout the resort and at the Cerritos Campus in accordance with company and regulatory procedures and protocols.  The team also verifies that Welders and welding are in accordance with applicable requirements.  You will prioritize and manage their work and assure that they have sufficient operating supplies and equipment, and their work are completed on time.  You will also review completed Maximo work orders for compliance to procedures and close out work orders in Maximo system.

You will also manage a contracted inspection program which includes the followings: obtain Attraction Engineering Scopes of Work and drawings, review the scopes of work for accuracy completeness, schedule and attend job walks with contractors, send out work-scopes for competitive bidding, review contractor proposals and obtain Work Authorizations. You will assure that contracted inspections are completed on time and that Work Being Performed and Safety Plans are approved prior to the inspection start date, and that inspection results are submitted in accordance with the scope of work requirements.  You will also track the status of the inspection, Field inspection Reports, SmarTeam-Animal process, and Engineering review process, and final reports submitted. You will be responsible for reviewing contractor Field Inspection Reports and final reports with engineering teams, and complete Maximo work orders. 

Additionally, you will collaborate with Cast Members in other departments in order to complete required work, and partner with Facility Asset Management and IFP for planning future inspections as well as provide support to FAM/Project Management and Engineering Services teams as required. You will participate in the recruitment and development of QA Cast Members, root cause analysis with QA partners, and new process implementation.  Additionally, you will perform periodic audits of Cast Members and contractors to assure compliance to procedures and safety protocols.

You must be willing to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and 3rd shift (11PM- 7AM) and working extended hours to complete time-sensitive tasks.

This is a 100% onsite position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical support to QA 3rd Shift Cast Members, build a strong teamwork, a safe and nice work environment.

  • Assure compliance to company and regulatory procedures and protocols. 

  • Assure that Cast Member time and attendance software is accurate. 

  • Provide Cast Member direction regarding leaves of absences and time off approvals. 

  • Assure Cast Members comply with training requirements.  Utilize the D-Achieve process to provide Cast Member feedback.  Sustain the contracted inspection schedule.  Assure that work being performed requests and safety plans are approved.  Conduct periodic audits to assure compliance to procedures and protocols.

Basic Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Maximo and associated procedures.

  • Experience managing teams and providing leadership and technical support.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of nondestructive testing in order to make recommendations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of welding code.

Required Education

  • High School Education

  • Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $107,500.00 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
