The Sales Guide will provide effective and impactful face-to-face and telephone sales presentations to Guests of the Disneyland Resort and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members, utilizing the Counselor Sales Approach sales methodology and delivering a high quality Disney experience. This Cast Member will move Guests and Members toward a buying decision to join DVC or increase their Membership level and make any necessary provisions for follow up in order to obtain the sale. Other duties include delivering the Disney Vacation Club message concisely and consistently while demonstrating in-depth product knowledge of both DVC and the Walt Disney Company Parks & Resorts worldwide.


A Sales Guide is responsible for hosting tours to the DVC Open House or through telephone sales opportunities, showcasing the value and benefits of a DVC Membership for a family to enjoy Disney vacations in a new, more affordable way.

Basic Qualifications

  • Valid, active and in good standing California real estate license
  • Proven success working in a competitive sales environment
  • Demonstrated to meet and exceed minimum performance standards set by the DVC Sales leadership team
  • Demonstrated ability to be comfortable and flexible working a single location or multi-site structured environment, telephone sales and often unique sales / marketing channels
  • Demonstrated continuous positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to be flexible and dependable with a work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and willing to travel with Disney
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills, including effectively handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to identify short and long term goals and develop daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly game plans for success in meeting goals and targets
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain long term relationships with Member base

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in MS Office programs

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
