Disney Institute is looking for 2 Senior Facilitators (1 in Celebration, FL and 1 in Anaheim, CA) that will report to the Delivery Director and support a variety of clients. This posting is for the role located in CA.
You will blend and provide an array of learning solutions for external clients based on an in-depth understanding of Disney's best practices/approach to leadership excellence, employee engagement and quality service (3 pillars), complemented by personal business leadership experience. Your work will involve heavy facilitation and presentation of content to diverse audiences of all sizes. The Senior Facilitator shapes content including structure, visuals, participant guides, and supporting activities that align to the culture and desired outcomes of your client organization. Demonstrate an advanced ability to transfer concepts from ideas to observable actions, ultimately producing performance improvement and sustainable business results.
Communicate with external clients drawing upon leadership experience, business knowledge and Disney Institute insights to both understand client objectives and align learning solutions.
Facilitate and blend relevant insights, illustrations and examples across the 3 pillars of expertise in order to meet your client's learning objective without direction
Create program materials for blended content
Modify program length or flow based on client's learning goals
Lead train-the-trainer sessions for peers to ensure successful program and content delivery
Collaborate with functional partners to ensure highest quality and integrity products
Project Manage your client's learning experience, including pre-program consultation, functional partner support, content customization and facilitation
Collaborate with account management/engagement partners on learning sustainment strategies
Demonstrate the five (5) LAMMP (Leadership, Acumen, Management, Mastery, Presence) competencies: Personal Leadership, Business Acumen, Project Management, Content Mastery, and Stage Presence
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have:
5+ years leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Work in autonomous and structured environments without direction
Experience collaborating with and get partners, peers and clients on board and engaged. Leverage experts and raise important issues
Ability to influence others by addressing the most important concerns and proposing alternative solutions
Experience in content/material design and facilitation across a variety of clients and business types
Ability to understand business principles and communicate them back to external business leaders at all levels
Experience translating personal leadership experiences into stories that are relevant to your client's need while enhancing the learning points of the content
Organization, planning and project management skills
Presentation and facilitation experience with both small (<25) and large (>100) audiences both in-person or through a virtual environment
Demonstrated comfort in using technology to enhance learning and support important messages
Willingness to travel for business both domestically and internationally
Walt Disney Company or Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products (DPEP) operational experience
Keynote and presentation software experience
Experience within adult training, learning and development
Experience facilitating learning experiences to a diverse business audience
Professional certification or association relevant for increasing human performance
Demonstrated experience with change leadership or organizational improvement
Experience establishing and sticking within timelines, budget, and resource use within a project/engagement
Prior external (non-Disney) business experience
