Job Description

The TA Standards & Integration Manager is a member of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort team at the iconic Disneyland Resort. You will be responsible for overseeing the seamless implementation of Train Me across the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort lines of business as well as updating the source content of shared documentation across lines of business. You will report to the Senior Manager of Operations Support.

The duties of this position include:

  • Implementation of creative content, including videos, electronic checklists, and simulations/scenarios for an improved training experience via TrainMe.

  • Writing content to meet the needs of each stakeholder and content owner.

  • Leading revision and reimagining of all Resort general source content with Operations Training, Documentation and identified content owners.

  • Partnering with Operations Training and Documentation to develop training delivery methods and implementation.

  • Understanding Safety requirements, as determined by Cal-OSHA and Ellis, to impact content design and detail.

  • Conducting documentation deep dives on existing source content in preparation for TrainMe transition.

  • Managing transition of source content and supporting documents from Operating Guides into Train Me.

  • Providing partnership and support with Operational teams to transition to TrainMe.

  • Supporting internal partners (e.g. Guest Communications) in transition to TrainMe.

  • Working with Operations Training and Documentation teams to establish the new documentation sustainment process.

Basic qualifications

Experience in hotel leadership or other resort related technical fields (e.g. Ops. Training).

  • Clear and concise communicator.

  • Strong writing skills.

  • Experience in managing the development of technical documentation.

  • Excellent partnering skills.

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of direct supervision.

  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion, including inviting diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity.

Required Education

  • Minimum college/undergraduate degree (e.g., B.S. / B.A.), or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

2+ years of experience leading and developing as a Guest Experience Manager or equivalent role.

  • Experience as a Training Point of Contact.
