Job Summary:

The e-commerce business has been one of the key growth drivers for Disney Consumer Products over the last few years. In view of our rapid growth, we are now seeking an E-commerce Lead Manager, DCP Thailand & Vietnam to further drive commercial success for Disney. This is a commercial role, and the main goal is to expand on-line business through partners, market places, digital platforms and identify potential models to capture emerging trends in B2C, B2B and social commerce.


Key elements and required results of the role
  • Support market teams in strategy setting, business planning, forecasting and commercialisation of e-commerce opportunities across the region
  • Identify ways to enhance value capture via semi-vertical or vertical business models and operationalise the opportunities
  • Deliver AOP targets for e-commerce accounts
  • Conduct the business planning, forecasting and aligning business priorities with the category/ NB/ DTR managers for the E-commerce channel and focus licensees
  • Lead new licensee and e-commerce partner pitches and existing partnerships
  • Work with local/ regional creative team to develop tailored pitches to E-Commerce channels.
  • Work closely with product category managers to expand product categories and deepen the SKU’s.
  • Drive on developing initiatives to facilitate the introduction and expansion of E-Commerce/ Online channels.
  • Deliver against AOP Target on E-Commerce Accounts.
  • Plan and execute the marketing calendar/ signature campaigns with E-Commerce partners to drive visibility and sales.
  • End-to-end campaign management for digital marketing activations
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
  • Aware of market trends, new way of promotional activity, coming trends amongst the competitive environment in a proactive manner.
  • Be a champion for social creatives, formats, features and updates. Identifying opportunities for creative innovation and paid media synergies.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with E-Commerce leads in other countries as well as E-commerce regional team to facilitate best practice sharing.
  • Actively maintain relationships with existing marketplaces, licensee partners and other e-commerce partners
  • Maximize synergic opportunities across The Walt Disney Company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience at big E-Commerce platforms.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic plans in retail and online environment.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionality.
  • Proven experience working in branded consumer environments with an appreciation of online marketing and brand management are business critical.
  • Extensive knowledge of E-Commerce technology and sophisticated web analytics.
  • Extensive knowledge of E-Commerce business models and retail industry trends including channels, customers, promotion, and products.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills is a must.
  • Problem-solving across various responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Comfortable with and proficient in Power Point & Excel.
  • Must be motivated, highly organized, flexible and results oriented.
  • Strong communication skills; experience in coordinating across teams and communicating to senior management.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgement, strong negotiating and decision making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact.
  • Initiatives ability to produce well thought through visions and business cases.
