Job Summary:

Overall Purpose of the Role :

The incumbent will part of a specialized team responsible for creating content for emerging audiences for multiple platforms including ESPNcricinfo, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The candidate must have a sharp grasp of content trends on various digital platforms and the pulse of consumption patterns and consumer analytics, a sound knowledge of the sport, creative abilities and multi-media skills.


  • Create content for emerging audiences on multiple platforms
  • Focus on growing the social media reach for ESPNcricinfo on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Work alongside the content team to develop new story-telling methods
  • Work with external partners when required to extend the reach our websites and content
Work closely with all the content teams – video, news-desk, stats-desk correspondents and other social media teams from across the regions

Basic Qualifications:

Qualification & experience required:
  • Understanding of the digital content landscape
  • Understanding of content consumption patterns among young fans
Knowledge of the game
