DMED Technology operates a high volume and fast-paced environment where it relies on a SupportCenter to provide Level 1 support for all programming contribution and distribution for The Walt Disney Company.

The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will join DMED Technology’s Support Center to play a critical role in our day-to-day Service Management process. Specifically, the Sr. Technical Support Analyst will perform critical service-health monitoring, reporting and incident management during their shift. The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for understanding complicated technical concepts and be able to communicate the business or customer impact effectively and efficiently to a general audience. At the same time, the Sr. Technical Support Analyst must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to manage the efficient recovery and mitigation during technical failures. Sr. Technical Support Analyst will also be asked to perform some post-mortem reviews. Finally, the Sr. Technical Support Analyst will perform a key role in onboarding new services for support; creating and reviewing runbook documentation and evaluating new technologies in service of our ultimate mission to provide best-in-class support for DMED Technology.


  • Monitor the service health of DMED Technology to preemptively avoid incidents and react to those that do occur.
  • Execute our Major Incident Management strategy when incidents do occur.
  • Execute various support runbooks to resolve Level 1 incidents as reported from a variety of different methods (self-service ticketing, phone, email, etc.) These runbooks span broadcast technology, IT support and software support. The majority of our runbooks are specific to The Walt Disney Company and training will be provided.
  • Create and review support runbooks for new service onboardings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in television broadcast, transmission, IT or related fields.
  • Minimum, Associates degree and or comparable military/civilian work experience in an appropriate technical area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of Major Incident Management experience in an IT or Broadcast field
  • Has 3-5 years of knowledge related to PCR, MCR, ACR, studio, digital, audio, and other broadcast type facilities and their operational use and maintenance.
  • Has 3-5 years of knowledge related to software support including database management; introductory programming skills; experience managing Cloud environments.
  • Has 3-5 years of experience monitoring large network systems including LAN/WAN/WLAN systems, routers, firewalls, servers, storage.
  • Basic to intermediate computer certification(s) or ITIL Certification
