Job Summary:

The Creative Operations team creates and optimizes new and innovative workflows that support a portfolio of projects across streaming, digital and linear platforms, including key art and show packages that interact with premium properties like E+, E+ Originals, E:60, Films and 30 for 30 and other emerging studios; custom digital interactives for ESPN.com and The Undefeated; and advertorial microsites and banners.

The Producer will be heavily focused on the day-to-day management of ESPN+ experiences and key art projects, but will also be able to produce a variety projects that touch all platforms. This role will build out the strategy and a system for the daily management of assets. They will also be a strong voice to ensure creative is optimized for all screen sizes and audiences, considering industry accessibility guidelines and existing ESPN+ audience metrics. This role is also responsible for managing stakeholder and senior staff expectations and working closely with creative partners on project timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeps team morale and communication pipeline maintained at the highest possible level to include diverse voices
  • Motivates, educates, and/or directs both internal and external creative teams. This role is the central point of contact for all project communications
  • Organizes and runs focused, efficient project check-ins with multi-departmental teams, and takes clear notes for distribution post-meeting
  • Manages all project assets, including delivery and archiving
  • Possesses a basic understanding of UX best practices, particularly on streaming platforms
  • Conducts and organizes research for projects in collaboration with creative leaders
  • Participates in forecasting meetings to represent the needs of ESPN+ shows and series
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert in digital workflows and processes, as well developing a thorough knowledge of various network/show looks
  • Available to work extra hours, nights and weekends as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Understands trends and patterns in the larger digital media industry
  • Fan-first mentality, constantly asking the question of how our fans will best consume ESPN content
  • Digital project or product management experience
  • Experience working with project management tools, as well as an eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Detail and multi-task oriented, the ability to multitask and deliver consistently with accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of key art and product art
  • Experience with digital metrics tools, including Chartbeat, Omniture and Google Analytics
  • Experience working with project management tools
  • Experience as part of a creative or design operations team

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education

  • A College or Technical School degree in communications or related field

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
