Job Summary:ESPN Corporate Citizenship is seeking a passionate, community-focused person who thrives on engaging people in volunteering as a way to give back. As a member of the team, this person will assist in the success of Team ESPN volunteer programs and its day to day oversight. This includes coordinating and promoting employee engagement efforts for volunteer team builds as well as our annual Volunteer of the Year celebration and other employee programs such as VoluntEARS Online, EARS To You, and Matching Gifts. The ideal candidate will bring experience in nonprofit or corporate social responsibility program development or volunteerism, have excellent project and time management skills, be highly organized, communicate effectively, able to work autonomously and demonstrate the ability to be a team player.
Responsibilities:50% Assists in the success of Team ESPN programs and its day to day operations. Leads efforts overseeing program administration of all Team ESPN events, including posting volunteer events in our VOL system, working with regional volunteer champions to input and track their events, ensure employees are inputting their volunteer hours, etc. Oversight of annual compilation of ESPN employee volunteer hours tracking and reporting into TWDC at fiscal year close. Coordinates employee engagement efforts, including programs specific to VoluntEARS Online, EARS To You, Matching Gifts and other projects, such as team builds, holiday volunteer events, Volunteer of the Year celebration, etc. Develop creative marketing, recruitment and communication strategies to promote employee engagement.
40% In partnership with the Program Manager, Volunteerism, Project Coordinator will work on a few special projects in 2019 that are company-wide initiatives led by cross-functional teams across the business, which will incorporate employee engagement elements, including but not limited to: ESPN 40th Anniversary, College Football 150th Anniversary, Special Olympics 50th Anniversary and World Games, Volunteer of the Year, TWDC Global Week of Service, TWDC Team of Heroes, etc. Must be able to effectively manage project timelines and ensure projects progress as expected to achieve program goals.
10% Develops content for compelling storytelling on ESPN employee volunteerism ongoing efforts both in the US and internationally to showcase on ITK and ESPN Citizenship websites. Continuously looks for opportunities to "elevate and tell the story" of our volunteer efforts to give back to the communities we serve.

Reports to Program Manager, Volunteerism
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in nonprofit or corporate CSR program development and/or volunteerism
- At least 1 year of effective and demonstrated project management skills
- Technology experience working with diverse platforms and new technology, including volunteer administration platforms or other CSR systems
- Proficient in using graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva) is desired
- Excellent project and time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Must have effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Team player and able to work across the enterprise with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and self-lead work responsibilities
- Commits to continuous learning and improvement in the area of Citizenship and CSR
- Bachelor’s degree required
