Job Summary:

The DMED Multi-Platform QA productivity engineering team is seeking a motivated, skilled and passionate Quality Assurance Analyst II to join our team. As a QA Analyst II, this individual will work together with other analyst and the Consumers Experiences & Platforms and other external teams to define and execute the testing coverage needs for our consumer facing applications. Additionally, this role will require the candidate to be the QA lead for multiple releases and to participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including planning, design, test execution and release.


  • Execute assigned test cases and test plans. Find, replicate, and regress defects and write reproducible steps in our bug database system. Additionally, ensure that validated deliverables meet functional specifications and requirements.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Maintain QA processes, documentation and test tools.
  • Participate in Road Mapping, Recons, and grooming meetings to review tickets for incoming features and work. Where functional and design specs are reviewed and timelines are set. Also includes test plan reviews with peers, and other QA specific meetings.
  • Effectively communicates defects and other issues to stake holders and arranges meetings as necessary. Organizes test sessions with key members of the delivery team to ensure functionality of product(s).
  • Work closely with vendor QA team members to ensure they are fully integrated

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience working in a QA, preferably in video streaming
  • Experience executing test cases and test plans for OTT and Mobile applications (Android, IOS, Amazon, Roku etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with various QA tools. (ADB, Xcode, Charles Proxy, Postman,SOAtest etc)
  • Familiarity with issue tracking software like Jira or Github.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance practice and testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience writing test cases, test plans and overseeing the QA process in its entirety
  • Experience in agile software development teams working iteratively with designers, product managers and stakeholder
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, while being adaptable to change.
  • An analytical thinker, with sharp attention to detail, that posses’ problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual and within team
  • A strong passion for product quality and continuous willingness to improve the product.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated test tools
  • Experience writing test cases in Gherkin or Cucumber.
  • Video Ads testing experience
  • Analytics testing experience
  • Privacy/Compliance testing experience
  • Accessibility Testing Experience
  • Sports knowledge.
  • A passion for learning and technology!
