Job Overview :

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Fantasy Sports front-end engineering at DMED, you will help build and maintain complex web applications that are enjoyed by fans across the globe.
You'll be a member of the diverse team that builds the world’s #1 Fantasy Sports product. You will work with modern server-side and web technologies such as JavaScript, Node, and React to deliver scalable, elegant, solutions for new features and core site architecture.

Responsibilities :

  • Architect and develop core site functionality using React and other JavaScript frameworks

  • Prototype new features and research applicable technologies

  • Implement best practices to continually increase performance and scalability

  • Work with product and project management to refine specs and timelines

  • Partner with other engineering teams to deliver best solutions

  • Mentor and provide feedback to junior engineers

  • Review code and pull requests to ensure product and design specifications are met

Basic Qualifications :

  • Proven understanding of front-end web development technologies and principles

  • Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript, JS frameworks, and server-side templating

  • Experience with task automation (Grunt, Gulp, WebPack) and CSS Preprocessors (Less, Sass)

  • Demonstrated ability to research and learn new technologies

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  • Driven and self motivated

  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience 

Required Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.

Additional Information :

The hiring range for this remote position is $157,700.00 to $182,500.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
