How you will contribute to our magical experience?:

The Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in extracting insights and developing growth and retention strategies for our streaming business. In close collaboration with the Content, Brand Marketing, Product, and VX teams, you will analyze the impact of marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, user behavior, and subscriber growth to identify new opportunities and challenges. Your strategic analysis and data-driven approach will be instrumental in driving the growth and innovation of Disney+ and Star+.

The Sr Manager will be responsible for:

  • Utilize large datasets, including SQL/snowflake, to analyze and extract insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation in our streaming services.
  • Explore and visualize data using tools like Looker, Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.
  • Leverage statistical programming languages like Python/R to enhance data analysis (desired but not mandatory).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Collaborative approach to foster teamwork and drive collective success.
  • Communicate findings effectively through storytelling, translating data into valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Foster relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues, effectively managing and collaborating with them.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when working with large amounts of data and numerical information.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical understanding to enhance analysis.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate or master's degree in Business Administration, Sociology, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or relevant disciplines. (Desired)
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Looker/Power BI, Python/R, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with large datasets and data exploration.
  • Familiarity with growth marketing strategies (preferred).
  • Ability to derive concise insights from complex data sets.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Excel, employing advanced techniques.
  • Desired understanding of machine learning techniques.
  • Business-oriented mindset with strategic thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills.
  • Innovative and adaptable, capable of working in dynamic environments.
