Responsibilities:

This position will partner with Director of Restoration and Senior Manager of TV Repurposing to perform responsibilities supporting the creation of Edited and/or Localized Digital Distribution Studio Masters that are archived in Inventory for the entire company to use.
  • Develop an understanding of each project’s specific needs, analyze vendor bids and make recommendations to Supervisor, issue Purchase Orders, track all Overage requests, reconcile approved costs against vendor finance reports, evaluate and process invoices, and liaise with Finance to ensure all invoices are received and paid on time.
  • Edited Masters: Analyze requests from various lines of business, build or contribute a work plan, research assets, coordinate editor and talent touchpoints, and monitor all milestones throughout production.
  • Catalog Rejections: Independently receive, research and resolve Client rejections of localized catalog masters, provide status updates to both the Client and Department rejection tracking systems, make new inventory masters as necessary, review/approve QC Reports, ensure new assets are entered into inventory and drive inventory efforts to remove outdated assets.
  • Additional Catalog Research: Receive requests for ad hoc master research, analyze project needs, provide response to client I a timely manner and track request in department system.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Digital Mastering, Film, Electronic Media, Communication or related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Studio Mastering and/or Post Production Facility with an emphasis on Digital Intermediate and Mastering, creating localized servicing files, and/or Broadcast Servicing.
  • Strong Project Management and Reporting skills.
  • Experience creating Domestic and localized International Version files in multiple languages.
  • Version Control: Management of dynamic content revisions and accurately tracking/reporting version control updates.
  • An understanding of the Editorial process.
  • Management of digital workflows with a thorough understanding of current and developing technology.
  • An understanding of color grading in multiple color spaces and picture composition in multiple aspect ratios.
  • Self-managed priority setting in a highly dynamic environment.

Required Education

Associates Degree in Digital Mastering, Film, Electronic Media, Communication or related field.
