- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely. This is an IATSE 839 position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. 

 

We’re looking for Character Clean Up Artists who have a rich imagination, strong sense of graphic sensibility, and solid volumetric drawing abilities to work on an animated series. An understanding of color, shape, and anatomy are also key skills needed to breathe life into our characters. A keen eye for detail and ability to translate rough concepts into production drawings is critical.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Creates detailed character turns for a diverse cast of characters in the style of the show

  • Execute detailed character technical drawings

  • Ability to visualize and detail characters in multiple angles

  • Work with character designers to turn rough sketches into polished line drawings

  • Creation of model and expression sheets

  • Collaborate with and address notes from Visual Development in completion of all assignments 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Expertise with Photoshop, familiarity with Clip Studio 

  • Strong sense of graphic appeal and anatomy

  • Ability to create a high volume of production ready turns quickly in various styles

  • Attention to detail and ability to accept feedback from creative executive

  • Positive attitude and collaborative nature

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
