The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Rotation Program is a full-time rotational development program designed to provide recent college graduates a cross-functional, enterprise-wide learning experience at The Walt Disney Company. Analysts will participate in four distinct rotations within the Corporate organization designed to build key technical and leadership skills needed to succeed within the many businesses of Disney. Analysts will set goals for their program experience allowing them to develop, grow, and enhance the necessary skills to become strong finance professionals. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for various opportunities within The Walt Disney Company.

All roles are located in Los Angeles, California.

A Day in the Life  

  • Diverse Experiences: Participate in four 6-month rotations throughout Corporate FP&A, gaining exposure to the diverse operations of The Walt Disney Company. Rotations are available in the following corporate areas: Technology, Marketing, Project Planning, and Organizational Management.

  • Professional Development: Analysts will follow specialized curriculum to build communication, leadership, presentation, writing and other professional and management skills.

  • Expanding Your Network: Opportunities to meet with peers and senior leaders to expand familiarity with the Corporate organization.

  • Formal Mentorship: Analyst will be matched with a senior level manager who will provide ongoing development, leadership insights and direction to help make the two-year program even more valuable. Opportunities for informal mentorship and partnership will also happen throughout the program.

What we are looking for… 

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and advanced written and oral communications skills. We are specifically looking for individuals who have the following background:

  • Business experience through internships, part-time work, and/or on-campus involvement

  • Dedication to building a career in finance

  • Proven ability to take on leadership positions and significant responsibility

  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Growth-oriented, collaborative, and dedicated team player

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a similar field

  • Available to begin full-time by the program start (Summer 2023)

Preferred Education

  • 3.5 GPA or higher preferred

The hiring range for this position in California is $80,000 - $84,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Additional Information: 

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

  • Must be at least 18 years of age​ 

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. ​ 

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization 

  • Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Burbank, CA area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.​
