Disney ABC Television Group is seeking a highly motivated individual for their open Analyst position. This Analyst will assist in providing support and analysis for the kids' cable programming for Disney Channels Worldwide (DCWW), which is inclusive of Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD.

Responsibilities

Responsibility:
  • Work across all platforms (Linear, VOD, Apps) to collect behavioral data used in tracking, reporting and analysis
  • Perform data mining to support advanced analytics
  • Create dashboard using data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Work with engineering team to ensure data quality and to facilitate data automation
  • Support senior research team members on custom analysis and presentations
  • Work with senior team members on advanced digital analytics projects

Basic Qualifications

Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a cable, broadcast or syndication research department
  • Data mining (SQL)
  • Data visualization (Tableau)
  • Web/app analytics (Omniture)
  • Syndicated analytics (Nielsen/Comscore)/STAR Media/Npower)
  • Math/statistics background

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
