Job Summary:

The Data Integration Manager will be a member of the Data Services team, which supports the enterprise customer data warehouse solution.  This solution integrates data from across TWDC business units (Theme Parks, Studios, Disney+, ESPN, Shop Disney, and others) in support of Consumer Analytics and Marketing. Working closely and collaboratively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, the Data Integration Manager will be responsible for supporting various customer data and consumer marketing services initiatives, including data onboarding projects, data enhancement initiatives, data feeds to external business users as well as internal system enhancements and data integration projects. The Data Integration Manager will work with internal program managers, data engineers, analysts, and marketers as well as with external stakeholders to formulate a deep understanding of the department’s customer data needs, opportunities, constraints, and challenges.

 Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and enforce Data Integration design and development standards and best practices and follow established data architecture standards.  Oversee and execute the design and development of data solutions and detailed specifications that allow for the ingestion of various types of data into a data warehouse environment and custom outbound extracts as needed to meet business unit data needs.

  • Develop, launch, and maintain Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) frameworks and best practices.  

  • Identify, investigate, and solve data quality issues and make sure the data is secured and reliable.

  • Lead and maintain change management processes related to all Data Services

Educational Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

Required Experience:

  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in definition and implementation of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions supporting ecommerce, direct-to-consumer marketing, or consumer data analytics teams. This experience will include the design and development of reliable, highly scalable, flexible, and high-performing data warehousing solutions.

  • Advanced SQL

  • Experience working with Snowflake or other Cloud database solutions.

  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT and data orchestration tools. Experience with Informatica, Python, ActiveBatch or similar scheduling tools, AWS, Github, Gitlab, and Unix scripting.

  • Proficiency working across technical and non-technical stakeholders within large and complex business environments.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • High energy level, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage day-to-day interactions with others.

 Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with Airflow, and NIFI technologies  

  • Tableau 

  • Informatica Professional Certification 

The hiring range for this position in California is $131,680.00-$181,060.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
