The DMED Integrated Planning team drives unified ways of working and strategic alignment across DMED and key xLOB partners to maximize business growth and consumer engagement.

Job Summary:

The Director, Integrated Planning will drive strategic planning alignment and revenue optimization around marketing activation for key DMED business priorities. This executive will influence a broad and comprehensive range of teams and leadership across DMED and xLOB business partners and determine opportunities to create organizational and process optimization where applicable. She/He/They will lead a team that establishes and communicates collaborative resources, processes and taskforces for amplification and elevation of business priorities and objectives with a focus on the DTC & Platform Distribution divisions as well as cross-functional Multicultural & Inclusive marketing strategy alignment. She/He/They will also oversee cross-team operations, ensuring the team is maximizing resources, tools and processes.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Lead one of two team pods, with a focus on driving strategic planning alignment and revenue optimization around DTC, Platform Distribution, and DE&I priorities
  • Partner closely with Enterprise & DMED synergy partners on prioritization strategy and communication and establish new processes and resources to aid optimized synergy activation
  • Oversee creation of aggregated campaign overviews for activations around tentpole priorities to be shared with senior leadership and key DMED and xLOB partners
  • Oversee and ensure DTC & Platform Distribution representation in planning tools and timelines, e.g. the Integrated Calendar
  • Collaborate with DMED’s partner marketing and Ad Sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities through proactive planning processes and activation frameworks across DMED and Content Group teams
  • Optimize collaboration between DMED, Enterprise, and Content Group marketing, DE&I and Integrated Planning teams against key audience engagement and DE&I marketing & content initiatives
  • Lead creation of unified strategic objectives, planning guidance and creative resources where applicable around tentpole cultural celebrations and audience engagement strategies aligned with Enterprise goals and objectives
  • Partner closely with DMED, Enterprise, and Content Group DE&I teams to ensure DE&I initiatives and priority campaigns are being activated across all DMED groups
  • Oversee the operations arm of the Integrated Planning team and ensure continuous improvement and optimization of centralized planning resources, processes, and tools for DMED and key xLOB partners
  • Manage a central budget for cross-DMED alignment initiatives and planning resources
  • Drive change management where needed when introducing new planning cadences and processes
  • Lead, guide and empower her/his/their team to cultivate strong relationships with partners and continue to find ways to drive revenue optimization around marketing and cross-promotional activation
  • Drive cross-DMED strategic alignment around key TWDC initiatives when applicable

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates mature leadership qualities with the ability to turn vision into action, motivate others to achieve goals, and follow through on decisions
  • Strong ability to influence and work through others in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience managing and influencing senior level stakeholders and driving air traffic control and aligned decision making
  • Experience working on and leading highly cross-functional teams and ability to navigate across multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized, with the ability to efficiently manage a large quantity of projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets and driving results at both the project and division level
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strategic and creative problem solver that thinks outside of the box to find solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver feedback to partners efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to travel based on business needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A track record of positive and productive relationships across the Disney company
  • Entertainment industry experience and strong understanding of DTC, theatrical and in-home distribution models a plus
