About the Role & Program:
The Disney Entertainment Segment FP&A team is responsible for consolidating the financial results of our Direct-to-Consumer, Networks, and Content Sales and Licensing organizations which represent approximately $51B in total revenue to the Company. Additionally, this team supports day-to-day planning of the segment’s central administration costs (Functional labor and overhead, corporate allocations, and other costs). This role will assist in preparing and reporting on segment results during our various planning cycles (Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan) and will be expected to analyze financial results to determine drivers of change, assist in headcount planning and recommend areas for process improvement. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May/June - August 2026.
What You Will Do:
Operating plans, forecasts, and strategic plans
P&L planning, budget, Variance, quarter, trend and acquisition analysis
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), project modeling and variance analysis
Evaluating new or existing business opportunities, Researching industry/external trends and evaluating their potential impact
Long-term Strategic Planning & Consolidation
Ad hoc requests and reporting for your team and Senior Executives
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment and work situation
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
Collaborative mindset combined with ability to work independently
Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
Strong written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Data analytics mindset with experience in data visualization (i.e. Tableau) and business intelligence tools
Education:
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related area
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship - May/June - August 2026
- Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA area
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
