Job Summary:

The Global Mobility Immigration Specialist will support Global Mobility Partners, the Sr Manager, GM US Immigration, HR, Legal, foreign nationals, and segment management to onboard new hires requiring US visas and to maintain their lawful presence and work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer document intake and initial file reviews for nonimmigrant visa cases
  • Efficiently facilitate process workflow between Immigration team, Global Mobility Partners, Disney Legal, foreign nationals, and HR
  • Partner with GMPs to prepare materials for educating business partners on U.S. work visa and/or legal permanent residence application requirements and processes
  • Run weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting for the Enterprise-wide foreign national population to support GMPs and HR partners and to track population’s expirations and milestones
  • Document processes and record notes from team meetings; save centrally for team to access
  • Ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate generation and execution of letters for miscellaneous visa and green card processes
  • Maintain templates and organize filing system for easy access and use for team members
  • Primary point of contact for the design and entry of data into Enterprise legal tracking system

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in immigration/global mobility or related field
  • Understanding of business immigration processes
  • Experience facilitating immigration processes for a large and complex foreign national population
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign and Adobe Pro a plus
  • Ability to prioritize work and work in a team setting.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Highly responsive and client focused
  • Attentive to details of protocols, procedures, processes

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or a related field
