Lead Product Manager

Job Summary:

The DTCI Product Platform Management team is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our software products and platforms by providing cross-functional leadership between key stakeholders, engineering teams, business relationship managers, program managers and other product management teams. This team establishes roadmaps, delivers technical requirements and helps prioritize the investments we make in our enterprise products and content delivery platforms.

As the Lead Product Manager, this person will be responsible for product management activities for multiple products, to ensure the highest quality software tool sets are available for their business partners. As the main point of contact for their products, this role will be responsible for working with senior product management to help create strategy, identify and organize appropriate resources and execute on priorities on a day-to-day basis.

This role will be focused on multiple areas within our Media Networks segment including Global Marketing and Business Operations business and systems. This role will maintain a close partnership with Engineering, Design, Project and QA teams as he/she drives new product strategy, looks for continuous improvements to current toolsets, incorporates unique feature specifications and core development workflows. This person will coordinate prototyping, production launch, and the ongoing releases of significant updates. He/She will play a key role in the design of the products working closely with the UX teams to ensure the highest quality end-user experience and brand consistency. This role will help resolve escalations from within and outside of DTCI for all relevant stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for tracking the development of the team’s products and live ops performance, ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner and will report out on initiatives and progress.

Responsibilities:

Work with Business and Technology teams to understand and translate needs to strategies, requirements and deliverables. Creates product roadmaps that produce a high quality software tool sets for the business partner. Manage planning and development prioritization for cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are met.

Assume product leadership for key business initiatives from definition through technical delivery including iterative improvements for their products. Works directly with related teams to coordinate organizational priorities to ensure all aspects of a business deliverable are met across relevant products.

Responsible for product management activities for multiple products. Identifies technical, operational and organizational problems. Works with Senior product management on resolution.

Constantly looking for product efficiencies and productivity

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years managing interactive development and production, including synthesizing business, creative and technical elements into compelling consumer-facing experiences.
  • Superior product and design sense that guides the team and allows for rapid development and innovation. Understanding of the web and app marketplaces, current design practices and trends are essential.
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team collaborating towards the same deliverable.
  • Dedication to and deep knowledge of data, employing insights to make decisions and adjustments on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate goals, status and issues upwards and across organization.
  • Solid understanding of tools, technologies, processes and methodologies employed in the development of interactive software for web and native applications. Ability to work with engineering teams to deliver elegant, efficient and timely solutions.
  • Experience working on high profile productions synchronously.
