Walt Disney Studios – Marketing


The Creative Content team within Disney Studios Marketing focuses on developing and producing best-in-class content in support of marketing campaigns for Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Disney Live Action, Walt Disney Animation, and Pixar – both Theatrical and Streaming titles. The creative we produce can be seen across the globe through broadcast, digital, social, in-theater and out of home activations.

The Manager of Creative Content role will partner with the Director of Creative Content to:

  • Manage the flow of marketing content on assigned projects for theatrical and streaming titles
  • Develop and maintain content planning documents and pitch decks to be shared with marketing teams, executives and filmmakers
  • Manage day–to-day relationships and content needs with our media, synergy, creative AV, digital, distribution, international, publicity, and national promotions teams.
  • Participate and contribute in creative content brainstorm sessions
  • Develop and manage the creation and distribution of animated and live-action toolkit on assigned titles
  • Aid in the production and delivery of assigned motion billboards, digital media creative, other OOH executions, and talent greetings and liners
  • Interface with vendors and agencies to communicate creative notes and delivery deadline updates
  • Participate in the planning and organization of marketing shoots with talent
  • Supervise marketing video shoots as needed
  • Manage the content vetting process through legal, music, filmmakers and talent
  • Watermark and distribute sensitive materials with internal/external partners as needed.
  • Manage the collection and distribution of raw elements to partners and vendors (title treatments, graphics, music, graphics, shoot footage, behind-the-scenes footage, dailies, clips, etc)
  • Supervise the finishing process on all content, including mix reviews, picture approval, and overall QC management.
  • Oversee the delivery of finished content videos to necessary recipients
  • Manage the archiving and organization of all finished materials
  • Additional responsibilities as needed


  • Studio, production company, or entertainment marketing experience preferred (minimum 2-3 years)
  • Experience in development, pre-production, production and post-production process (with the latter being of particular importance)
  • Diligent tracking of content distribution to ensure anti-piracy policies are met
  • Ability to collaborate with members of multiple divisions in marketing
  • Strong eye for detail alongside great multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Highly motivated and excited to learn, work, and adjust in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Strong creative vision and love for collaboration.
  • Working knowledge of programs and organizational software to track and maintain active projects (via Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Drive, Keynote, Smartsheet) across MacOS and PC systems
  • Familiarity with the full Adobe Creative Suite
  • Be a fan of and have strong familiarity of The Walt Disney Company and its franchises
