Manager, Marketing Finishing (Searchlight)

Job Summary:

The Manager, Marketing Finishing facilitates all steps in the pre-production, production and post-production of theatrical AV marketing materials for Searchlight Studios.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with various internal departments and vendors (i.e., tech ops, client sound and labs, Media, Digital Marketing, Creative Advertising Teams, Distribution, Exhibitor Services, Promotions and other departments) to ensure the finishing of necessary materials to meet media deadlines / deliveries.
  • Manage the identifying, ordering and delivery of materials to outside vendors.
  • Provide technical support between cutting rooms and outside vendors regarding source elements such as negative, split audio and music score on TV campaign finishing.
  • Secure, protect and distribute feature assets and AV materials internally and externally.
  • Ensure all final AV assets are QC’d and delivered according to spec.
  • Source requested dailies or feature shots as needed.
  • Maintain compilation reels of assigned final TV campaigns.
  • Facilitate the lot security requirements in the duplication of creative marketing materials.
  • Coordinate delivery of TV finishing materials (graphics, audio tracks, etc.) from creative vendors to finishing house.
  • Track music, legal and credit clearances.
  • Organize, maintain and distribute trailer elements (graphics, music cues, sound effects, feature scores, etc.) for all projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in post-production
  • Proven post-production and technical knowledge
  • Basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Administration and organizational aptitude
