Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life…
Interns in this department will assist the operations and sales team in carrying out needed tasks to push forward Marvel Partnership deals. Gain experience and knowledge by working across a vast corporate landscape while helping Marvel’s marketing efforts both Domestically and Internationally. Students applying for this internship should be interested in future careers involving advertising, marketing, sales, partnerships, film, tv, and/or communications.
  • Upload and maintain data in Salesforce
  • Extract relevant information from partner contracts
  • Update and generate reports
  • Create decks using Keynote, PowerPoint, or Photoshop
  • Research consumer buzz on our partner programs and in-market activations
  • Work across the department as needed- collaborate with team members across multiple time zones and offices.
  • Identify new sales leads

Basic Qualifications:

What we are looking for…
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Work efficiently in a team/group setting
  • Proactively handle several projects at once under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Keynote
  • Natural curiosity; takes the initiative to figure out the “whys” and the “whats” when presented with information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or comparable system
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Software Suite (including Photoshop or comparable systems)
  • Experience working in a corporate setting with a professional attitude
  • Knowledge of Marvel Characters

Required Education

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment, and/or Business majors preferred

Additional Information:

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2020 through January 2021
  • Candidate must be available to work part time hours (approximately 29 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Housing: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of their internship program.
  • Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation to get to and from work for the duration of their internship program.
