The Product Marketing Associate will help grow adoption of our digital platforms for our media networks (ABC, ABC News, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic). This role’s key focus areas will be product positioning, user education, and establishing go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and engagement. This role will work closely with channel owners to translate marketing strategy, insights, and creative development to user-facing communications.
This role will also own App Store Optimization (ASO) and growth initiatives to drive mobile and TV app downloads. The Product Marketing Associate is responsible for optimizing app store listings and developing new opportunities to increase discoverability and premium placements.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Support cross-functional team to develop the go-to-market plans for new features
Develop product positioning, value proposition(s), and messaging guides to be leveraged in product development and marketing campaigns
Gather research and user insights to advocate for customer in support of product roadmap development
Partner with Creative team to develop high-impact visuals that communicate product value
App Store Optimization (ASO)
Build strategy for all app store optimization initiatives, mobile and TV
Optimize product descriptions, screenshots, videos, and reviews to improve keyword rankings and installs
Implement testing framework(s) to drive learnings and optimizations
Report on keyword rankings, install rate, and effectiveness of experiments
Work closely with internal and external teams to increase discoverability, including Paid Media, Network Marketing, and Partnership teams
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
2+ years of mobile / app marketing experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Relevant work experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, integrated or brand marketing
Experience conducting A/B testing
Experience developing and implementing SEO/ASO programs is a plus
Possess a strong interest in new technologies and high marketing acumen and understanding of digital product development
Analytical, data driven and experience transforming data into insights
Excellent project management skills, including strong attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated and high bar for quality, productivity, and delivering results
Thrives within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
