Job Summary:

ABC Signature is a leader in the development, production and strategic distribution of entertainment content across television and emerging digital platforms. ABC Signature produces of a wide portfolio of programs for both ABC, Hulu, Disney+ and 3rd Party networks, including Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), Black-ish (ABC), Godfather of Harlem (EPIX), etc.

The ABC Signature Production Finance team is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an internship position. This role will support the Production Finance and show accounting teams. The ideal candidate should exhibit excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills and possess a record of outstanding academic and professional achievement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a team-oriented attitude and a sense of fun are essential.


  • Create and review show tracking analysis
  • Review production budgets and cost reporting
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Accounts payable through show accounting software
  • Analyze production cost trends

Basic Qualifications:

  • Passion for the entertainment industry with a strong emphasis in accounting
  • Media and entertainment and/or accounting experience in a previous role or internship.
  • Self-starter with ability to balance multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain both a rigorous attention to detail and a big-picture, strategic mindset
  • Comfortable working both independently and as a member of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the television business
  • Familiarity with working in or with large organizations

Required Education

  • Working toward or recently graduated (in the last six months) with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

Additional Information:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work. Position is located in Burbank, CA.
  • Must be available to work a hybrid schedule, in person and remote, in Burbank for 40 hours per week from August 2022 through January 2023

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
