Job Summary:Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) division is a newly formed technology epicenter which combines Disney’s tradition of bold innovation and creativity to directly deliver compelling content to hundreds of millions of people all around the world. Within DTCI, the Advertising Platforms team is responsible for creating and scaling innovative global advertising solutions by building mission-critical tools and workflows to support digital & linear ad sales, traffic, marketing and parts of broadcast operations. This role is a part of the Salesforce Software Engineering team within the DTCI Advertising Platforms organization. - 2+ years as a front-end Salesforce Developer (Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, and completely custom components)
- Solid grasp of UX best practices and principals and how they translate into Salesforce application design.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Proven ability to build custom functionality from scratch
- History working in partnership with back end developers to deliver end-to-end custom functionality
- Experience building reusable, flexible and configurable front-end components that can be deployed in not only your primary org, but to other orgs across The Walt Disney Company
- Delivered responsive pages and components for both desktop and mobile platforms
- Designing and implementing custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex
- Conduct User and Stakeholder UX interviews as part of new feature development and in ongoing efforts to improve existing functionality
- Work in an Agile development environment using Jira or other project management platforms
- A documented history of successfully driving feature development to completion
