The Walt Disney Company’s Treasury Department is responsible for developing and implementing the global consumer payments strategy, establishing appropriate risk management and risk mitigation measures, identifying and executing on operational and financial efficiencies, and managing global internal and external relationships in the consumer payments space. With total consumer payment volume exceeding $20B per year across the enterprise, the consumer payments group collaborates with all lines of business and senior management to ensure enterprise-wide alignment of initiatives and adherence to policies.


  • Assist in the preparation of Enterprise Consumer Payments’ strategy and plans by building models and an analytic framework to manage and control overall consumer payments costs for the enterprise, as well as identify trends in the data that suggest various business strategies
  • Provide analytical support for consumer payments initiatives globally, including partnering closely the segments, Corporate, and BAMTech teams throughout the year on issues surrounding the analysis of vendors, trends, and other data-driven business insights
  • Leverage both technology and data to identify business risks & opportunities and provide supporting analysis to senior management
  • Track global macro-economic and payments industry trends using a variety of research resources
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for senior management

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a business planning or analysis function
  • 1-2 years’ experience collecting & analyzing data and reporting on the results
  • Some prior experience working across functions and segments in a large enterprise environment
  • Strategic problem solving & analytical skills
  • Intense attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of R, SAS, SQL, or Python coding
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional skills in Excel; able to managing complex spreadsheets
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, prioritize, meet deadlines, and be resourceful and flexible, while maintaining absolute professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in consumer payments, or corporate cash management functions
  • Experience with transaction businesses, or businesses that rely on processing volume / scale
  • Experience effectively communicating complex business results to a broad audience
  • Basic understanding of statistics
  • Basic understanding of Tabeau
  • Experience using business management software (ex. SAP)
  • Understands and applies complex financial techniques to calculate ratios and return on investment
  • Exceptional skills in PowerPoint, able to develop presentations with compelling graphics ( and simple, clear language)

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, etc.

Preferred Education

  • MS in Analytics, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field preferred
