This role is part of the Core System and Platforms (CSP) organization. CSP is a delivery organization that addresses transformational business programs, technical currency to ensure we deliver high quality, Innovative Solutions, that are on-time, on-budget, on-function through technical excellence with our very hardworking cast. 

 

This is an approximately eighteen-month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement. 

 

What You Will Do:  

  • Identify, review, and provide recommendations to HCM customizations that will move as part of the SAP ERP HCM to SAP Hana S/4 upgrade 

  • Make recommendations on technical decisions for complex development scenarios requiring transformation from existing processes, while seeking scalable solutions and ensuring changes are consistent with Disney standard 

  • Understand, communicate, and work through interdependencies of change to other workstreams 

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis of all HCM integrations within the legacy SAP ERP platform with recommendations and a plan for remediation to modernize them within the SAP S/4 Hana platform 

  • Actively seek out opportunities to simplify SAP HCM configuration/processes with recommendations for sunsetting legacy configuration no longer required. 

  • Facilitate testing efforts associated with SAP HCM processes and integrations throughout all phases of testing 

  • Be a liaison between the technology team, individual contributors, and business partners for the SAP S/4 Hana Project Team 

 

What You Will Bring: 

  • Minimum of 7+ years of related work experience

  • 7+ years of SAP HCM for a large Fortune 500 Company 

  • 5+ years integrating SAP with Non-SAP solutions 

  • 5+years participating on complex Technology projects 

  • Extensive knowledge of dynamic actions, custom tables, custom interfaces and other customizations related to The Walt Disney Company’s implementation of SAP 

  • Extensive knowledge of best-practice business process and technologies for HCM functions, focusing on Architecture and Integration to legacy based systems 

  • Ability to analyze complex business/technical problems and develop innovative solutions 

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills 

  • Ability to focus/align organization around critical initiatives 

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills 

  • Strong customer, quality and results orientation 

  • Ability to be an effective team member 

  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects and achieve results 

  • Ability to facilitate dynamic change within area of responsibility 

  • Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies 

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships at all levels in a matrixed organizational structure 

  • Ability to communicate well to both technical and business audiences 

  • Results-oriented, biased toward action 

  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance 

  • Approaches work with a positive demeanor and as an inclusive team member 

  • Demonstrates stamina, resilience and perseverance under trying circumstances 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office productivity tools 

  • Experience with Smartsheet 

  • Workday experience 

  • Middleware tools/technologies experience 

  • qTest and/or ALM test management tools experience 

 

Education: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technology field or equivalent work experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technology field

The hiring range for this position in CA is $112,012 to $150,260 per year and in WA is $117,342 to $157,410 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
