We currently have an opportunity for a Software Engineering Intern to work on the Residuals project team. The team is responsible for writing the software that calculates residual payments for the entire Walt Disney Company. With payments triggered by both external and internal events, calculations must be accurate, fast and easily reviewable by our finance team.

•Strong grasp of software engineering principles
•Strong problem solving skills
•Strong knowledge of the Java programming language
•Familiarity with the Spring and Hibernate
•Familiarity with REST APIs
•Familiarity with SQL
Preferred Qualifications•Familiarity with Spring Boot, JPA and JUnit
•Familiarity with Messaging Queue and Enterprise Service Bus technologies
•Familiarity with Postgres
•Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Agile Development
Required EducationJunior, Senior, Graduate Level student or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduating) pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or related field.

- Available to work full-time from either May - August or June - September
- Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation. Position is located in Burbank/Glendale, CA.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program, or recently graduated within six months at time of application
