- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services and solutions to protect the value and use of Disney’s information through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the enterprise. We protect the brand and reputation, while enabling and supporting business objectives.

GIS teams are located in Seattle, Burbank, and Orlando.

In order to ensure that our services keep TWDC secure, we follow an ongoing, iterative process, including continued reevaluation of our services over time to address emerging threats as well as changes in business and technology.

This process includes:

  • Analysis of known and emerging threats to determine risks against TWDC assets

  • Creation, maintenance, governance and communication of security policies and standards across TWDC

  • Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards

  • Assurance that TWDC assets are effectively managed and monitored to meet TWDC security criteria

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Information Security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is responsible for:

  • Oversees the day to day operational health and maintenance for the DLP infrastructure

  • Collaborate with service provider to ensure operational health, metrics and regular reporting meets standards.

  • Subject matter expert to lead the design, build and support for DLP infrastructure and operational functions

  • Apply best practice to continually improve the DLP services and related infrastructure and processes

  • Continuously develop DLP metrics for monitoring and alerts, monthly reporting and assist with related system capacity forecasting

  • Supports other end point security tools, tuning of detection and prevention capabilities

  • Supply expertise to management, business areas, and IT Teams regarding appropriate DLP controls and monitoring

  • Working within the Security Operations team, will be responsible for participating in the 24x7 on call rotation

  • Manages yearly security audits, providing requested data to auditors and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years of Large Enterprise DLP experience.

  • Experience in Broadcom (Symantec) or other Data Loss Prevention tools/products supporting a large enterprise.

  • Enterprise experience working in an operational capacity, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: server, network, cloud, database

  • Experience working with end point security tools and security logs

  • Experience in information management and information technology security design and implementation.

  • Experience with log or data analysis, extracting salient data points to improve detective capabilities.

  • Broad exposure to various security disciplines and deeper understanding of models and principles behind core security concepts such as TCP/IP, MFA, and network routing and switching.

  • Experience working with multiple operating systems to include Linux, Windows, and OS X.

  • Advanced scripting/coding skill

  • CrowdStrike
