In this role, you will work closely with the Studio Human Resource and Finance teams to blaze new paths in this data rich environment through analysis, data visualization, and compelling storytelling.  You will have the chance to leverage your expertise and knowledge to maximize the Company’s investment in our workforce..

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of analysts providing consultative support and ensure consistent workforce planning, headcount management, analysis, and insights.
  • Work with stakeholders from across the Studios to manage the headcount demand plan, tell the story of headcount progression, and provide data driven insights for our global workforce.
  • Drive long-term and short-term planning workforce planning efforts including AOP and 5YP through accurate forecasting and scenario planning.
  • End to end process owner in collaboration with key partners to ensure the entire process is efficient, effective and at a high-quality level to build trust and improve insights to guide the right business discussions and decisions
  • Perform variance vs. forecast analysis to understand how accurate inputs and assumptions are to identify areas of opportunity and continuously improve models and processes. 
  • Develops and maintains all of the analytics resources and data tools necessary to enable workforce management of our business
  • Implement and regularly update an end-to-end workforce planning process, including design, plan, and deployment of the workforce strategy with relevant tools and frameworks
  • Leverage external research, internal data, trends, analytics, and insights to assess local and global talent gaps, forecast resource needs, and model future scenarios to accurately identify and prioritize talent risks and opportunities
  • Shares responsibility with business owners for headcount management and effective and efficient use of labor
  • Drive forecasting with key stakeholders, including finance, talent acquisition, talent solutions, and L&D to improve workforce and resource planning.
  • Partnering with HRBPs and business leaders to develop and execute on strategic workforce plans that incorporate business needs, assess talent gaps and leverages tools to model mitigation plans through scenario planning
  • Consulting with the business to solve and/or mitigate current and anticipated workforce challenges, proactively identify the critical workforce requirements necessary to execute strategic business plans
  • Leading and facilitating workforce planning initiatives in partnership with HRBPs including, but not limited to, critical role/capability identification, environmental scanning, gap analysis, risk analysis, and action planning
  • Drive process improvement of systems and processes to standardize and optimize efficiency for reporting and analytics
    • Plan and manage automated, scalable work products (e.g., reports, dashboards, and scorecards) to stakeholders at meaningful points in time
    • Drive the development of tools which collect, organize, and present critical data and insights about our employees and crew
    • Ensure process improvement initiatives to optimize data and reporting efficiencies, including data audits, translation, and automation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience and deep understanding of forecasting, workforce planning, headcount management, and scenario planning.
  • Strong influencing and networking skills to help build and foster existing consultative relationships that drive synergy and partnership opportunities
  • Exceptional ability to present analytics in a way that tells a story and experience presenting insights to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple, interdependent projects while monitoring and communicating progress and make timely and effective decisions to meet fluid deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to effectively handle and maintain confidential information
  • Independent follow through on commitments with minimal oversight
  • Ability to focus on the here and now while keeping a keen eye to the future and the organizational capability to prioritize work
  • Passion for continuous improvement and continued learning in the field of diversity and inclusion insights to keep abreast on industry trends for metrics, benchmarks, research, and analysis
