Job Summary:

As a Technical Recruiter on the Technology Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for full life-cycle recruitment efforts and providing high-caliber service to technology hiring leaders across The Walt Disney Company. You will develop robust candidate pipelines and produce results in a fast-paced environment. Embedded within our center of excellence, you will operate as a consultant to the client groups assigned to you across various technology and engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for developing recruiting strategies that will allow you to identify top-level talent, through management of your applicant pool and sourcing techniques. Strong organizational, project, and stakeholder management skills are key to ensure impeccable recruitment execution on our team.

This role reports to a Manager, Technology who reports into the Sr. Manager, Technology of an 8-person recruitment team.

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Recruiter on the Technology Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for full life-cycle recruitment efforts and providing high-caliber service to technology hiring leaders across The Walt Disney Company. You will develop robust candidate pipelines and produce results in a fast-paced environment. Embedded within our center of excellence, you will operate as a consultant to the client groups assigned to you in recruiting across various technology and engineering disciplines. As a Technical Recruiter, you will develop recruiting strategies and identify top-level talent through a variety of sourcing/recruiting techniques. Strong organizational, project, and stakeholder management skills are key to ensure impeccable recruitment execution on our team.

This role reports to a Manager, Technology who reports into the Sr. Manager, Technology of an 8-person recruitment team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Operate as a consultant in applying best practices for full recruitment lifecycle and strategic talent acquisition knowledge
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process in an organized manner; including sourcing, interview process and selection
  • Foster relationships with hiring leaders and HR business partners to develop an understanding of department culture, initiatives, and talent profiles to accomplish the hiring needs of the business
  • Demonstrate ability to attract and convert hard to find passive talent through your understanding of the business and employee value proposition
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential tech candidates on their level of interest, qualifications, and compensation
  • Leverage applicant tracking system and CRMs for workflow tracking, communication, and management of active and passive candidates
  • Research competitive landscape and market insights to remain current in functional technology expertise and demographics
  • Ensure compliance with EEO/Diversity policies, including FedCon requirements
  • Adhere to continuous improvement of recruitment KPI's and facilitate TA measurement tools, scorecards, and analytics
  • Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned
  • Participate in outreach efforts and represent the Company for recruiting purposes at identified networking and industry events, job fairs, conferences
  • Develop a broad professional network and functional pipelines of technology talent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Roughly 5 years of large corporate and agency technical recruiting experience, across multiple technical disciplines, including software engineering, system architecture, data services, and all related functional software and services professionals
  • Experience developing comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans
  • Experience meeting time to fill, quantity, quality, diversity, veteran and internal hiring
  • Deep experience using social media tools for sourcing and branding efforts; tools include: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Diversity oriented sites & Blogs
  • Expertise in advanced Boolean and Semantic searching
  • Experience working and advising senior level management
  • Wordsmith job descriptions and evaluate candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match
  • Experience engaging prospects through targeted sourcing and cold calling
  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide Applicant Tracking systems and experience working in a results measured environment
  • Maintain Confidential Information

Required Education

Recruiting, Talent Acquisition or HR certifications

Preferred Education

Bachelors Degree
