Its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects.

What we’re looking for…

Serving as a central point of contact between (TWDC) The Walt Disney Company and (WDI) Walt Disney Imagineering, the WDI Content and Partnership Planning team is seeking an intern to support the day-to-day functions of shepherding partner and content integration in our parks and resorts throughout the world.

In this role, the intern will primarily be responsible for providing project management support. In addition, the intern will manage select projects and partner requests. This role will be expected to interface with multiple stakeholders across park sites, WDI, Studios, Corporate Franchise/Brand and the Corporate Alliances team. 


You will…

Project management:

  • Track status of all projects on a weekly basis; collaborate with stakeholders to gather updates
  • Update and distribute tracking assets to provide visibility into alliance partner activity across the WDI organization
  • Update content planning documents to provide visibility into short and long-term TWDC content priorities
  • Follow-up with stakeholders to keep all next steps and deliverables moving forward in a timely manner

Support partner requests:

  • Coordinate with various park contacts and project teams on new and in-process requests
  • Coordinate tightly with Executive to determine appropriate stakeholder input required at every step

Meeting Coordination:

  • Prep and distribute agendas for regular update meetings
  • Capture notes and action items from all update meetings and distribute to attendees; follow-up with stakeholders re outstanding action items as appropriate
  • Organize brainstorms and working sessions as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Detail oriented, highly-organized multi-tasker who has the ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Creative problem solver
  • Design eye for keynotes and information design
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Keen understanding of the Disney brand and organization preferred; ability to work across Corporate and business segments
  • Experience in teamwork, collaborative environments
  • Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly proficient in desk research

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled as a Senior or higher, or graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Business or related field of study

Preferred Education

  • Currently enrolled in graduate school or an MBA graduate within the past 6 months

The pay rate for this internship in California is $25.50 per hour for undergraduate students and $26.50 per hour for graduate students.

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship​
  • Must be at least 18 years of age​
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization​
  • Must provide full work availability
  • This internship is a hybrid position-- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Glendale, CA area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.​
  • Program length-- The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2023 through January 2024
  • Housing-- Must provide own housing for the duration of the internship program​ in the Glendale, CA area
  • Transportation-- Must have reliable transportation to/from work​
