Job Summary:

The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Member Accounting team is responsible for managing loan portfolio as well as billing and collecting for annual dues on behalf of the condo associations it supports. Being part of the Member Accounting Call Center, the primary responsibility of the Account Servicing Operations Clerk is to assist DVC Members with questions related to Annual Dues, Escrow, and Loans while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering billing questions from Members via phone, fax, and/or email, having complex discussions regarding collection status, and processing the related payment accurately
  • Follow standard procedures to ensure proper internal controls are met, both during and after each interaction
  • Provide suitable options for call resolution, in a timely manner
  • Partner with other areas to efficiently achieve a positive member experience
  • Assist in training new hires when applicable

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in call center operations
  • Background in banking and/or accounting industries
  • Demonstrated strong guest service skills with a proven ability to handle challenging situations while maintaining a positive and professional disposition
  • Ability to handle large volumes of transactions efficiently and accurately, work independently, multitask, and manage the time accordingly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including data entry, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong partnership skills, with a willingness to exchange ideas and information in a positive manner to maximize results
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Flexible attitude when asked to perform other duties related to department projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn all facets of the account servicing operation
  • Experience in a loan servicing or other accounts receivable environment; familiarity with simple interest loans
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Japanese

Required Education

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
