An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Financial Systems Analyst supporting the Tax Department.

The Analyst will work on tax system administration, enhancements and tax consolidation processes. This role will collaborate with our tax and technology community to work on projects to optimize the tax function and drive significant benefits through process improvement and leading edge technology.

The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting/tax background as well as knowledge of the software development lifecycle.


  • Administer, monitor and troubleshoot existing tax systems, such as OneSource Income Tax Compliance, SAP BFC, SharePoint and Workfront
  • Learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company’s information technology environment and tax technology environment
  • Maintain high levels of support by solving issues and responding to requests for data and reports
  • Recommend and implement changes to Tax Department processes and systems that encourage more effective utilization of all components of the technology platform
  • Work with Tax and IT partners on software development or process improvement projects. Define system requirements, make modifications, test changes/upgrades.
  • Update master data, create reports, run consolidations, query SAP and utilize Alteryx to manipulate large amounts of data

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0- 2 years work experience with financial, accounting or tax, preferably in a large SAP installation
  • Experience should be focused on tax systems, federal, state or international income tax or financial systems
  • Ability to quickly learn to how to support and maintain technology solutions such as OneSource Income Tax, TaxDriver, (SAP BFC), Business Intelligence Tools and WorkFront.
  • Knowledge of general ledger systems, information system concepts and data management techniques, including experience with interfaces between source systems and application software
  • Knowledge of SAP, (FI/CO, HANA, BCS, BW, BFC, S4) along with the ability to query and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Federal and State Income Tax E-File experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel, Access, SharePoint and Visio.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Good understanding of international, federal and state income tax processes and an interest in learning more
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality
  • Passion for applying technology to solve business problems, while ensuring tax systems integrity and controls
  • Demonstrated decision making, problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with, advise and influence peers, senior tax leadership and external parties;
  • Service oriented and responsive to stakeholders inquiries
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Proven “team player” who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to positively confront issues and resolve conflict with sound judgment

  • CPA or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analytics using Business Objects, Alteryx, Cognos or Tableau reporting tools
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation, (e.g., WorkFusion)
  • Knowledge of SQL, database tools, reporting tools, and other application tools and languages (e.g. PHP, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS).
  • PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner or other professional project management certification

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Computer Science or Management Information Systems
