This position will provide guidance to and act as the central contact for shipboard and shoreside Cast and Crew as it pertains to benefit programs such as Officer Family Travel, Familiarization Cruises, and Cast Member Space Available discounts. The role will manage all requests and inquiries for these programs while ensuring all are in accordance with various company and maritime policies.
The role will be dually responsible for supporting the execution of all non-revenue voyages, including but not limited to pre-inaugural sailings, test cruises, and dry dock projects. This self-starting Associate will be part of a high performing team working in partnership with leadership, shipboard partners, contracted vendors, and Cast Members at all levels. This position will manage all requests and inquiries for the project while ensuring all attending have received pertinent communication, reservations, and stateroom accommodations.
Responsibilities:
Process Officer Family Travel requests for onboard Crew Members
Provide guidance and expertise to shipboard partners at all levels interpreting Officer Family Travel policies and maritime regulations
Analyze reporting to ensure all Officer Family Travel guests are compliant with the Passenger Vessel Services Act and Crew Privilege Guidelines
Oversee Familiarization Cruise Program requests for DCL Shoreside Cast Members
Authenticate reporting for Cast Member Space Available reservations to confirm validity under eligibility policies
Manage PowerApp (IRGS) reservation requests and guest bookings for all special projects
Assist in berthing staterooms for all non-revenue sailings and projects
Partner with shipboard teams for all blocked rooms and Crew berthing needs
Facilitate Seaware upload process for non-revenue sailings
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year in analytical position
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated professional and eloquent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced attention to detail with excellent follow-up
Exhibit analytical ability and conceptual thinking skills
Exceptional organizational, decision making, analytical and problem solving, as well as continuous process improvement skills
Proven ability to be a self-starter with minimal supervision and follow-up
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, successfully meeting deadlines
Demonstrated solid partnership/networking and interpersonal relations skills
Experience with interacting professionally with all levels of salaried and non-salaried Cast Members
Work flexible hours, including weekends, nights and holidays
Desired Qualifications:
Previous DCL Dry Dock or project experience
Elevated understanding of Seaware Native
Experience with Business Objects and other reporting systems
Required Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
