Supporting all aspects of the internal training function at Disney Institute
Supporting on-boarding for all new Cast Members
Participating in the strategy and implementation required to up-skill our world class facilitation team, accounts team, content design team, business and operations team
Assisting in the creation and delivery of professional development opportunities for the Disney Institute team
Record and track performance metrics, communicating results at regular intervals
Assist with coordinating logistics for all internal training events at Disney Institute
What you bring to the role…
Excellent communication/collaboration, including sharp listening and writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to build partnerships
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve issues with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing demands while producing quality work
Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast paced, growing business
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Outlook calendar maintenance and other skills associated with complex scheduling tasks
Ability to work effectively with various levels of an organization
Knowledge of adult learning theory and development

Experience/comfort with public speaking
Experience designing and delivering training
Experience with video creation/editing software (such as Vyond)
Experience with e-authoring software (such as Articulate Storyline)
Required Education:
Junior or senior pursuing a degree in learning and development, human performance improvement, human resources, adult education, or related field; or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date).
Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide own transportation to/from work in the Orlando area
Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 through June 2024. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, with possible evenings and weekends if necessary.
Housing: This internship based in Orlando, FL. A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
