This individual will support the DPEP Business Comps team as a system administrator for the applications used for the issuance and reporting of complimentary admission entitlements. They will primarily support the VMEPA system, reviewing and approving partner initiated workflows. This individual will also train new users, including Executives, on the MIKE and VMEPA systems. This person will review data, analyze trends, and provide monthly reporting. This individual will additionally support new reporting, metrics, and dashboard initiatives.
Responsibilities
Accurately represent processes and policies regarding complimentary admission for all DPEP sites
Identify and document system control or efficiency gaps and create visual mock-ups and user stories for enhancements that will resolve the gaps
Review workflows for complimentary admission entitlements to ensure that they meet policy guidelines, requesting additional information as necessary, and maintaining an appropriate audit trail
Use Business Objects and other reporting tools to analyze data and provide regular reporting that will be used to drive decisions and provide accountability
Document processes and maintain FAQs, operating guides, training tools, and policy information regarding complimentary admission on Confluence, SharePoint, and other online tools
Answer phone and email questions regarding policy, process, or reporting and provide training to executive users and their assistants
Analyze data to provide monthly reporting on key drivers to our Executive
Maintain confidentiality on Company-wide initiatives and department policies and procedures
Create communications and reports for an executive audience
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 or more years of experience with product management, system administration, data analytics, or technology
Detail focused while able to understand the big picture
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, adjusting when priorities shift
Desire to improve and receive feedback while maintaining a positive outlook
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong understanding of spreadsheets, databases, and reporting
Demonstrated ability to generate reports using Excel formulas
Proven aptitude to quickly learn different types of software and systems
Solid understanding of internal controls
Immediately communicates concerns and respond appropriately to situations
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Proven written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization, including Senior Executives
Prior experience utilizing a dashboard tool like Tableau or PowerBI
Prior experience with database querying using SQL
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of experience with product management, system administration, or technology
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology, or equivalent work experience
