- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
The Direct to Consumer team manages all payments that come directly from a consumer. This role supports the Annual Pass Monthly Payment (APMP) function. Typical responsibilities of this role includes processing journal entries, account reconciliations, metric reporting, and assisting with PwC audit requests and other ad hoc duties.
Process journal entries and reconciliations for APMP
Provide management reporting and forecasting on a monthly basis
Find efficiencies in the manual processes that exist today
Support efforts to reduce bad debt and monitor trending patterns
Meet and partner with our third party vendor and other Disney operations partners on an ongoing basis
Assists with PwC audit requests
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to develop financial models
Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels within an organization
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
Ability to be creative and initiate problem solving
Understanding and ability to demonstrate principles and techniques of General Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP") and Financial Reporting
Identifies process improvement opportunities and provides solutions
Ability to think strategically
A passion for the Disney product and brand
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or other relevant analytical field
Master of Accountancy or MBA
