Reporting to the Manager - Content Design & Operations, as a Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be a part of the team responsible for designing products that help our guests gain the most enjoyment from their experiences within our Parks, Resorts and Cruises. As a Lead TPM, you will guide communication between Product Design & Creative, Product Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Engineering, and other DPEP partners. You will be an advocate for the Product Design & Creative team, a relationship builder, and an operational thinker. The Lead TPM will partner with leadership across our organization to influence resourcing plans and roadmaps, represent and report on design delivery, and align teams around the highest priority work. You will span strategy and tactical application, from evolving our team and partners from a focus on delivery to implementing strategy and vision, and promoting the opportunities to showcase where design can improve the Guest experience in support our mission of creating unparalleled digital experiences Guests and Cast.
In partnership with the Mgr - Content Design & Operations and Lead TPMs, set forth strategy and roadmap of transformation programs for Design Operations across the T&D Product Design & Creative team.
Develop and improve the program management and planning processes for throughput across teams and broader work streams
Identify design team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc.
Implement and lead required changes to make sure designers can be efficient and successful
Create & maintain processes that refine work intake for new projects, prioritization, road mapping and forecasting, track design and content debt, and creative project management across our LOBs and horizontal teams
Encourage and lead collaboration between partners and ensure inter-dependencies are understood and planned.
Serve as the voice for the team during planning and prioritization conversations that affect our designers' work; assess and simplify inbound requests, and partner with design leaders on solutions. Identify risks, prioritize and collaborate with partners to resolve promptly
Assess and improve flows of communication from working teams up to design leadership, and outward to partners, the executive team, and the company including team health reporting and support
Partner with leaders across T&D to help us navigate requests and allocate our designers to the right projects. Stay connected with our partners' reports and dashboards to monitor deliverables, dependencies, and priorities impacting our designers.

Support a design community through events, routines, and practices that amplify the voice of design
7+ years of operational or program management experience, preferably in a technical product space
Experienced with project management tools, including Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheets, and not only in how to use them but in how to build systems
Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and Tableau ● Experience in user-centered design process, methodologies, and standards
Experience working with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners
Experience working within technical and engineering organizations and keeping them updated on design progress
Demonstrated proactiveness in operational improvements within and outside of your team
Familiarity with design tools and technologies
