Job Summary:

The Manager, Tech Project Management. is responsible for managing the "Connected Products" Portfolio within the DPEP Tech & Digital organization. The Connected Products Team's mission is to deliver products that connect digital and physical experiences to help enable "storytelling without bounds" at Disney Parks. Products in this portfolio include MagicBand+ (the next evolution of this groundbreaking Parks wearable), Hey Disney! (the new Disney magical companion built within the Alexa platform in partnership with Amazon), MagicMobile (technology implemented to bring MagicBand functionality to Guest's smart devices) and the hardware and software that creates the platform that enables these products.

We are seeking a "product oriented" project leader with proven experience managing large and complex portfolios with many cross dependencies. Work will include the tracking and management of financials, risks, dependencies, resources, and report outs to executives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience leading portfolios of similar size and complexity
  • Experience leading executive portfolio updates
  • Ability to manage and lead teams
  • 5+ years of Project/Portfolio Management
  • Relevant Project/Portfolio Management certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a large organization
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Technical project management experience (especially with connected technologies using NFC, BLE, RF)
  • Product Management Experience
