Job Summary:

The Sales and Service Associates, National Geographic Expeditions create magic for our Guest before they arrive for their experience. As the Sales and Service Associate-National Geographic Expeditions, you will be the primary contact for traveler and travel advisors. The Sales and Service Associates, National Geographic Expeditions will handle pre-arrival Guest Service escalations, recovery and provide solutions based on business policies and Guest satisfaction. As the Sales and Service Associate-National Geographic Expeditions, you will sell and provide service on a variety of National Geographic

The NGE Sales & Service Associates will attend a paid mandatory training class. The operating hours of the NGE Contact Center are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This position is a hybrid role and requires you to live in the state of Florida.

The starting pay for this position is $19.25/hour.


  • Provide Guest Service on sales and service inbound and outbound calls or emails
  • Sell National Geographic Expeditions portfolio of premium travel products to travelers to meet travels needs
  • Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
  • Meet required departmental metric expectations including productivity goals
  • Manage multiple traveler relationships acting as contact to ensure all required information, paperwork an payments are collected
  • Engage with partners to tailor product offerings to traveler’s needs
  • Maintain knowledge of National Geographic portfolio of premium travel products with an emphasis on Expeditions
  • Make strategic decisions, perform time-sensitive actions, partner with support areas, and communicate essential information to travelers, travel advisors, and our partners
  • Provide data to leaderships based on sales, revenue and metrics
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members, partners and support teams
  • Protect traveler security by handling sensitive information
  • Complete all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned
  • Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience building brand loyalty
  • Knowledge of National Geographic portfolio of premium travel products and promotions and a full suite of offerings available to travelers and travel advisors
  • Experience managing priorities and maintaining confidential information
  • Experience within a Window’s environment
  • Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Sales and closing skills and the ability to overcome objections
  • Manage conflict resolution and make decisions through a delicate balance of integrity and partner resourcing
  • Develop relationships with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast
  • Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual or Multilingual
  • Experience working with luxury oriented clients, tours operators or related fields
  • Experience with International travel
  • Experience within a contact center environment
